Hello, my name is Julian Burton and I’m a foreign language assistant placed here at Lernhaus im Campus for this school year. I am 27 years old and I come from a town in the English East Midlands called Loughborough; where I am currently studying Politics with a minor in International Relations. My role here at the school is to help with the teaching of English to the students, by assisting the English faculty anyway I can. Coming from a native speaking context, I hope that I can help with the students understanding of British culture and generate an interest in learning the language. I chose to take part in the foreign language assistantship because I have an interest in teaching and improving my German language skills. I’m thrilled to be here and the chance to immerse myself in German culture is exciting!
